SERIES | NEEDLEPOINT PROJECTS 2007
The six prints in this series combine two very different images: patterns for needlepoint projects, a mostly female craft, which has soft and comforting associations, and images that are mainly male oriented -- science, transportation and occupational -- which mostly come from a mathematical text for grade school students. These are printed on 20” X 22” paper. I've also made a smaller version on 12” X 12” paper, which looks slightly different because of scale and color modifications.
